The reason i want to do the b16a motor is the b18 smokes really bad and i havent had time to find out if its is the piston rings or valves. But i thought i might just replace the motor and i thought about doing the b16 because it already has a b16 tranny.

not necessarily, but...

what year is the teg?

if 90-91, get a Sir-1 B16a

if 92-93, keep the Sir-2 B16a

the first being non obd cable tranny
the second being obd 1 hydro tranny.

with a b16 that car will come outta the hole like shit but if you build the head up enuff your top-end/crusing will be sweet.

90 integra is non-obd. do the basics- belt, water pump, wires/plugs, dist cap/rotor... plus youre gonna have to convert and hook it up to your existing tranny. i would also suggest having the flywheel resurfaced and the clutch replaced.
