If anyone saw this out on the bridge last weekend, its was fuckin classic, the rotary rail pulled 2 car lenghts on the vette instantly..
The movie will be on our website soon, the guys name is Lewis and he is very cool..

imagine if the race had gone over 100 mph..me thinks the vette would have ass raped it, get better story skills
That was pretty sweet. How far did they race on the bridge, I don't think he'd pull on the Vette up top.
Its slow for a rotary.. it only runs 7.2 @ 90 in the 1/8 but you guys are right the vette would win by 150mph or so....,and for the smart ass Hostess lover .. its street legal, its has wheelie bars for the track not the dirt, dumb ass, doesn't even know...lol

I saw them run. They went from a stop and the buggy had him as far as I could see. I didn't get to meet either of the owners but I got to see the buggy close up at another spot later in the night.

I saw them run. It was pretty sweet. i would have lost money on that bet though. I couldn't believe how fast that buggy got up and went. i would still rather pimp the z06 than a rail buggy though.

Who wouldn't rather sport a Z06 over a buggy? But I'm sure that's not his daily driver so it really doesn't matter.

Yes, I noticed the altezzas also. I'd still like to show him my tail lights, atleast for the first few seconds that he can see them without a telescope :lol:

I heard about that kill. Good for the buggy. But what kind of weight advantage did this thing have over the Vette? And would the results be turned around if the Z06 had some stickies, and just launched the crap out of it?

How does that 1/8 mile time equate to no car being a challenge under 700hp?
I had 550-560 to the wheels and I was running 6.7s at 103 mph in the 1/8?
I knew this was going to happen...what ever you guys say is right.. But I lied about the track times....:lol:
Its faster than that...it ran 7.2 with 146 hp...lol

Ok, well ive beaten vettes,nsx's, newer mustangs, bimmers Fbodys pretty much anything(havent raced a viper yet)
point is, no matter how fast my car is, its still a late 80's mustang, than tha afore mentioned vehicles will outclass me anyday of the week, and i realize this. great "your buddy" has a 600 Lb rolecage on wheels that beat a badass stock car. but its still a rail car!. see what im saying?? i can appreciate fast cars no matter what, but laughing @ the vette for loosing is just plain moronic, b/c in essence, the vette is laughing @ the sand rail for being a sand rail! see what im saying?
also, most people here dont like people that talk shit and claim victories for cars they dont own, thats why you are geting the heat...

Also...to add what has been said....and to continue to beat a dead horse.......what did you expect? A show of respect towards you for talking up someone elses hard work and design. I have seen 100 people do what you just did and not one has ever recieved a positive reponse.
It is a neat setup hes got....but unless you designed it, fixed it, wrenched on it, or drove it... dont ride on other peoples accomplishments.

You should try to get your friend to bring it to track day...I would like to check the thing out myself.
Not to mention it would lead to some very interesting 1/4 mile races being yanked out of the hole and then playing catch up.

The main reason I wrote this thread, it inspired me to make my project go faster, which is the exact same concept and engine designs I am currently building at my house. I guess thats why I went so overboard....
