yep very common leak just like those damn freeze plugs, if only Chrysler would start flushing these motors after all the machining is done there wouldn't be so many damn problems with shit rusting and plugging the radiators besides the corrosion of aluminum parts

freeze plugs tend to be steel from the factory that's why they rust out and why "most" people replace them with brass plugs

my Truck was only 3 years old when i replaced my plugs because of internal rust from factory metal shavings. the reason why most use brass is because they are much easier to install, and fit much better into irregular holes in blocks besides they don't rust but here in Florida you don't have to worry too much about rust.

In florida you don't have to worry about rust???? what you talkin about? florida is the rust capital of the US next to N/SCarolina

Looking like excessive slack in that there timing chain.

yeah, about 1" wiggle in the chain.. 5 degrees cam movement

and rust in the freeze plugs.. FL doesnt care. There's still a constant supply of water eroding on them. They dont rust out b/c of salt. I've replaced many plugs on florida cars. And i believe they are brass so they dont rust, but it may be about the shape too.

Mike, got any timing covers for Magnums?

Warmin up the troll again?
