Eclipse pulls impala SS..

So its thursday night, around 11, on my way back from BMP with some friends when i see a nice looking black impala SS lowered with 3 red gauges on the A-pillar , when i was at the track i thought i remember seeing him running some badass times, something like 12.20's i think, not sure what mph, but anyways he revs on me (i'm thinking great not only is my car disappointingly slow at the track now i can get my ass stomped by a faster car than min:roll: ) but anyways we went at it from around 75 mph, up to 125 and much to my surprise, i put about half a car to a car on him :D i was like holy fuck, the guy pulled next to me once we slowed down and gave me a thumbs up with a surprised look on his face, very nice guy from what i could tell, i don't know if hes on the boards but he had a pimp ass impala, i'm sure the cars only set up for 1/4 mile runs, thats prob my my slow piece was able to pull him.

but anyways, if that guy with the impala is on here, nice car man and good race

Nice runs up top a couple of weeks ago coming from Bradenton. Nice looking Eclispe by the way and thanks for the props on my ride.

You definitely pulled me by 1/4 to 1/2 car on all of runs from 80 - 130 MPH. Now for the bad news.:( And this is not intended to bust your bubble. You should be proud, becuase this Impala has been heavily worked.

This car has run 110 thru the traps and clocked 12.2 ETs on the motor. Unfortunately that wasn't happening that night at Bradenton....12.7's at 106 to 104 MPH and pulling out 9 degrees of timing.

You helped me verify false knock in the 12-15 degrees range at WOT past 110. .......and I am sure that you noticed I was running my sled home on slicks.

The news gets worse....the false knock has been isolated and repaired and the nittos will be on for a while.......OH did I forget to mention that this car and motor is set-up for SPRAAAAYYYYYY down low, up top, in the middle, sideways, & upside down. :D

2NASSTY, your car is the shit, what can i say me and the dsm got lucky, plus to add to my luck i was runing straight 112 octane, not mixed with 93 and running open downpipe , i did feel like the shit afterwards though :D

I know if i had raced you without the gas and open dp you wold have shown me your tail lights badly

You should feel like the shit. Not becuase you took out a Heavily modified Impala...... but becusae your car rides out up top and it looks BADASS.

It's allot work to pull off both........I know.
