I am seriously contemplating painting the hubcaps. They are just horrible. They were covered with satin silver type coating but it has flaked off in places especially on the front ones. The plastic itself is a light gray but it doesn't help. I wonder if I can find some gunmetal gray type color.

The most awesomemest color of that color... VHT Cast Iron manifold paint!! Its like $10 a can, but i love it!! Its the color of my 2.5 block if you remember

I dunno that might be to bright, also considering black......well not sure, I want something midway not dark but not to light either.

buy the whole wheel anyway.. not the rim. you only need to buy new rims if you curb the ones on your wheels. And thats only if you buy the expensive 3 pc ones like the honda kids do (they're always talking about getting new rims)

I don't mind buying a rattle can of paint for the Hyundai but no wheels or anything else like that. I mean if wheels, why not keep going and just sell the K.

Besides, its not technically my car. Once the K is done I won't be driving it and chances are it will get traded in along with the other Hyundai for one good car.
