Well heres what I think,I hate 6 port engines,I hate them with a passion,6 port sleaves and actuators suck ass.

Either look for a 70s 13B,or get a GSL SE 13b (84/85)
and use 12A plates,

6 port sucks for power gains,but the junk yards will sell them as an engine and try to get top$

You wont find it any cheaper than $150.

You just have to know how to check for bad housings and apex seals.

actually you can make just as much power from a 6 port as you can with a 4 port. people do it all the time. i might have some housings lying around for you to play with and slap something together.

Ok I have not seen 1 6 port engine with High HP output,I have heard of only a couple that are even bridge ported,even RacingBeat and Mazdatrix will tell you you wont achieve high HP.

I have built engines,and im building one right now,and porting it :roll: I have taken apart rears to change diffrentual,I actually have a welded locker to throwin untill it breaks,or just wait till I get my 4.444 gears,I never said I know every thing about rotaries,just put it liek this,I know enought not to send it to someone to work on it,My car is no rushed to be done,

Its getting a complete paint job from enginebay/doorjambs/to body,My engine itself will be done soon.

Im porting my car right now :roll:, I do have a buddy with a first gen (12A) maybe we can set upsome races at the track for cash,what do you prefer a 1/8 track? or 1/4?

My car was ok with the mods I got,Its just not tuned properly,
The carb needs to be reworked,and timing set right,I was running a 17.5 on the lean side,thats way to lean you ask anyone.

BTW I had around $900. (total from buying price to mods) in my car to run 15s,I did see alot of 17/18 sec FC N/As at the track.

As a matter of fact When I was there there was only 4 so called F&F cars, so dont just jump on the 'they are with me" when the 17 you counted you didnt even talk to about 5 of the cars that showed up after I did.

When I got there with my friend in his FB 2 more FBs showed up and 3 others FCs showed up then someone counted 17, thats 7 cars that you dont even know who the hell they were,So how did
so many cars leave before I got there if you did not count us or the other cars you dont even know?

When I got there there was only yours,Jacks,Mikes,Lee"s cars,that makes 4, RuffRider was there and left before I go there,

The guy with the FD non of you even knew,and he hung out and talked with me,I had to push the guy to get a armband to race.

I know for a fact I did not say my engine is port or I had one I was porting,I might of said I have porting work in my plans for the engine,Which is now DONE.If I was talking about anything,I was probally braggin on the 10 AE I was getting.You guys even came over and looked at my shit after I ran and you said it was good on stock ports..
