yeah.. i know that, captain obvious.

I got a 3.9 that dumped the radiator into the oil. They said it was some seal or gasket behind the timing chain that commonly goes. I dont know what hes talking about. All it could be in that area is the timing chain cover. But how often does that go?

So its either head gaskets (so strange for me to say that word in plural) or maybe intake gasket where the water x-over is.

Either way, its in Deltona (150 miles from me) and i'll need to fix it in his front yard..

Small blocks have that strange aluminum water pump/front piece that uses a gasket. O have blown an intake gasket on the water xover and it hydro locked the block, #1 was full of water, shot about 10ft in the air when I took the spark plug out and turned the engine over by hand.

So Type O has blown an intake gasket?

Possible, I would go ahead and replace the intake and both head gaskets, just in case that way you only ripp the top end open once. If it still has water in the oil then it's the front aluminum peice that is leaking.

Sorry, I had to move my truck from Casa Grande to Chandler and that was one scary ride. Not as bad as the Newport on a Uhaul trailer towed by the Dakota.

All I hear about from Bob's work is Safety first, and 95% of the employees have DUI's

as long as they were safe about them. DUI's are only dangerous if you hit someone/thing. But people do that plenty sober.. so whats the big deal??
