Does anyone know where i can get a BOV kit for a 20001.8T Jetta? And would installing it yourself be hard?

depends on what you get, i dont know how VW's are set up, but i know if you try to vent to atmosphere to get the psst sound on most factory turboed cars, you'll more then likely stall the car after hard acceleration. As for a kit, it depends on what you get, as stated before, there are some that will use the stock flange, and others that will require a new one to be welded on.

That's what I've heard as well. If you put a BOV on a 1.8T motor it's just going to confuse the computer and send it into safety mode making the car build no boost what-so-ever.

Damn does that suck. Can't you vent it back into the intake? Won't get the sound you want though. Damn. My BOV is awesome
