View Full Version : Workers needed for St Pete CART race

I just received a phone call from Geoff Duncan from the SCCA Pro Racing Dept.

SCCA is providing corner workers for the St Pete CART (Indy Car) event this weekend. There is a shortage of workers needed to man this event. Geoff is looking for SCCA members to help staff the corners. There is no requirement for any of the workers to have a workers license to work this event.

Geoff said that meals will be provided, and that there will be worker parties. He also said that SCCA will also be willing to help defray the cost of motel rooms for some of the workers.

Geoff just gave me an update.

Ron Sharp is coordinating the workers for the CART event.

Ron can be reached at 515-988-4744.

In addition, the TransAm Series will be racing there also.

Damn, working all day and didn't see this.

Damn this stomach virus ! :mad:

I so wanted to get a good work station this weekend. I have not even been able to use the credentials I picked up on thursday with the exception of going there on Friday after work to look around.

This sucks :(
