View Full Version : Gainesville Solo Trials

There is a Solo Trials event coming up at Gainesville Raceway 3/8-3/9. Time Trials are somewhere between Solo 1 and Solo 2. The course is a closed circuit and you get 3 hot laps at a time. :)

There are also some additional requirements....

You MUST preregister
You MUST be an SCCA Member
You MUST get a Solo Trials License (novice licenses available at event for 15.00)
There are additional safety requirements that you can read about on the event flyer.

I haven't registered yet though.
Is there any talk of cutting off registration early?

Depending on how work goes and if I feel like making the trip I'll be there. Three hot laps at a time is pretty damned nice.

There is concern of far too little turnout.... Can't run an event like that with just 20 people....

So how was it? I would have loved to go, couldn't get vacation time. Maybe next time though. What was the turnout?
