View Full Version : Turbo Drain Problem Need Suggestions!!

a have a garrett to4e turbo and the moroso pan the problem is, that the drian bung off the oil pan and the turbo drain line are so close to gether that i can get one to the other without kinking or routing around like the grand canyon... any one have this prob?? or any suggestion on how to fix?? :?:

i had the same problem so i went to amazon hose and bought some high temp line that actually has strips of metal through it that doesnt allow it to kink. its a little hard to bend but it worked perfect for me. just go there and ask for just that. theyll hook you up and its only like 5-10bucks a foot

i have steel braided #10 (5/8) and the angle its on its insanely tight i think i might have got it but won't know till tommorrow (friend punctured radiator on accident :x ) anyway i use barb fittings insted of the screw on type and it seems to have work will update when finished... :)

no damnit. not steel braided, if it meant steel braided i would have said it... steel braided will still kink. it looks like a normal high temp black silicone line but its got strips of metal through it. just do what i said and be done with it

Sounds similar to hyraulic hose, rubber hose reinforced with steel wire
