yeah..........it's easy to find one for under 3K. I go to the track often. We're having a dsm meet on the 18th at desoto speedway. You can come & watch. Lots of 11 sec dsm's :) . As for my asking price....I spent more than 10K on it. I know it will not sell for as much but then I don't wanna part with it for less :D

3000 should have you a low 14 car
2500 for the car(you know you dont have to have a 90, the the plymouth laser rs-x and eagle talon tsi AWD are exactly the same car also)
do your free mods
50 for a boost guage
50 for MBC set it to 16 pounds or so
100 for 2g exhaust mani
300 for exhaust setup
that should put you in around low 14's atleast, granted you can drive
www.dsmtuners.com (just to get an idea of how, and what to get, to mod)
www.vfaq.com
www.dsm.org
its alot of info, and you'll need as much as you can get.
ps-did you ever have a race setup with a red laser behind azalea soccer fields?

i put my car in the 12`s with about $3000. I also paid $1500 for a 90TSiAWD with 79,000 miles on it, in excelent condition. They r out there you just have to look for them. As for the track it is about 10 miles east of I-75 in bradenton on ST. RD. 64 (was exit 42 not sure what its called now) WWW.bradentonmotorsports.com

i believe its exit 220 now
I bought my car for about $2400. It's a 92 Laser Turbo AWD.
All the stuff I've done is on the webpage in my sig. I'm not real sure how much I've spent so far, but I don't think it's that much. My suggestion is to gradually ease into it, trust me you'll have fun with an AWD DSM stock. It's a really fun car to drive. Just be easy on the tranny. But here's my suggestion for mods.
Get a 90-94 AWD DSM (92 is the only year they made Lasers AWD)
Do free mods (remove aircan, remove passenger headlight at the track, remove silencer, lower honeycomb, and back the screw out)
Boost Guage - 50 bux
A/F Guage - 50 bux
Boost Controller - 50 bux
EGT Guage - 100 bux
SAFC - 250-300 bux
Fuel Pump & Rewire - 100 bux
And if you tune it right, you should be runnin mid to high 13s.
I know my good buddy Mike (91tsiawd) ran a 13.5 with that setup. Might have a little more, but yeah it's a really fun car.
