Been checking out some turbo cars, found this, too bad its out of my price range. I am looking just in case by chance there is a turbo car around here that runs good for cheap that can serve as a transplant for my K :)

Also looked at a debadged shadow today, it was just painted. Wasn't sure if it was a turbo, turned out to be a 93 3.0L 5spd car, but the place wanted well over 3k for it which is insane.

Well shit, tell your clone to stop by the used car dealership near my house. I think the guy said $3600, its a V6 5spd 93 2dr shadow, has aluminum wheels and new paint (red), some power stuff, and the interior looks nice. Its a nice looking car besides being way overpriced.
And actually it is debadged, I had to stop and ask what it had.
Me: "hey what kind of engine does that shadow have, a 2.2/2.5 or a V6"
Mechanic: "its a V6, why what kind are you looking for"
Me: "2.2/2.5 Turbo"
Mechanic: "we stay away from selling turbo ones, just one more thing to break"
Oh well I plan to drive by a place on OBT sometime next week. I saw a 89 Shelby Daytona there. Seems like it has been there forever, maybe its cheap.
Other than that the K has an appointment on Monday to get checked out/inspected so as to find out whats causing all the noise. I decided to get an outside opinion before I go wasting another head gasket and replacing pistons.

Maurice shoulda said: "Ever hear of 3.0 V6's dropping valve guides?"

LOL I forgot the exact words of that conversation but after he told me it was a V6 I do remember asking him if it smoked. Of course it was a 93 so it might have already had the revised valve guides. Either way it wasn't really what I was looking for but curiousity made me stop and ask.
