Traveling down 275 going north next to john (vr4) this lil riced out white crx with white wheels and altezzas(suprise!) comes up next to me, dropes a gear. pops vtec on me(like a man) and flex's, thinkin he was gonna do a little domestic violence!

well little did he know that the prestone powered LX hasnt had a taste of rice in 3 months and was very hungry for some burnt uncle bens. hes lucky i decided to leave the bottle home or it would been a catastrophy.

Any way we are traveling at a cool 70mph i drop it to 4th and hit the good el power band and take off like Dom did in my favorite movie. then i proceed to have a cup of hot cocoa in between shifting 4-5. I guess that gave the little guy some hope cuz even thought he was a good 3 semi lengths back he was still pushin the little civic that could as hard as its little underpowered econobox could go. well seeing that i granny(understatement) shifed 5th i droped out of my power band, but thanks to my 4.10:1 gear ratio, i was back in it in no time!

he gave up after that.................

update: i raced a turbo neon last night and god damn, that thing was quick. ill be damned if that thing wasnt a car off of my bumper all the way. now granted my car was runing at almost 200 degres and all motor! gave him a thumbs up and limped the car back to finches house! if anyone knows him, tell himgood run!

Donnie, what color was the Neon? If white, it was Alan. Car is nicly built but I'm not sure if he got it fixed yet of not. Get in touch w/ me and we'll see if we can't figure out who it was. I want to know too.

these import guys must run stock domestics alot b/c everyone i run up on, wants to race me, bad, like they are 100% sure they are gonna lay the smack down, even after hearing what my car sounds like at an idle, they still want a peice. shit the best race ive had in 3 months was a neon :lol:.

:lol: Ask Taylor (VortecFL) about how I handle those situations. I just keep half a fender ahead of them the whole time watching to see just how much throttle I was having to use. It makes for some pretty good times :lol:
