Default horsepower to the wheels 300zx tt

I am wondering how much hp's I am losing to the wheels. It's just a guessing game until I get to the dyno but it's stage III, 12.5 lbs boost, JWT ecu, upgraded intake and exhaust.

I would guess you're loosing over 9000 horsepowers to the wheels until you swap in a b16. They're fwd engines so you don't loose as much horsepowers when you put them in your jdm drift machine

Have 275 horses drag you in a 3600lb sled chariot style and shoot them in the head one by one until it feels as fast as your car. The number of dead horses = whp loss.

Seriously though, most would chalk it up to the 15% rule but that's not always accurate. There are a number of factors that determine horsepower loss. (Rotating assembly weight, temperature, humidity, etc.) Try a coast down test on the dyno.

I would personally put RWD powertrain loss at 20% or more. I had a buddy put down 280 crank hp in a honda. He laid down 220whp on the rollers once it was bolted to a trans, w/ P/S, A/C, etc.

here's one for the gurus....

1900lb full weight car (gas, fluids, driver, fuzzy dice etc etc)
250whp est engine (RWD)
48F 52R weight bias

1/4 mile time? (no calculators fags!)
track capability? (road racing/autoX)
driftability?

thoughts?
