Well I finished my Complete Alpine System:

Alpine Type R 6.5" Components
Alpine Type R 6X9's
Alpine Type R 12" DVC Subwoofer - soon to be flush-mounted in spare-tire well.
Alpine CDA-7894
Alpine CVA-1003 - soon to be Alpine TMEM790 as soon as I get $400
Alpine MRV-F340
Alpine MRD-M500

Wiring: All Monster Cable RCA's and Power Wires.
Monster Cable 1 Farad Cap.

Alarm: DEI Viper550ESP w/ Remote Start, Proximity Sensor, Glass Breaking Sensor, Mini-Piezo Sirens, and Remote window, and sun-roof roll back.

Will have pics up soon, for those of you who would like to see my install job. It was a shitload of work, especially the Alarm, tons of wires.

My only problem is that I don't have a video source yet. Im going to do the PS2 but I dont know how Im going to get power I was thinking about just doing it the ghetto way, and using a power-inverter and hard-wiring it so I dont have to plug it into my cigarette lighter. Any other ideas? Also if you have some opinions on the stuff I bought let me know. Im very satisfied with what I bought though.

thats not exactly a ghetto way the power inverter...

who's doing the flush mounting of it?

imho I would actually mount it a litte sub flush, and make a cover for it, and space the cover up maybe 3/4 of an inch, you cna still retain al cargo capacties then

I am doing the work, thats what Im going to do. I going to put my carpet back over it so you dont even see the sub. But Im going to have a grill over the sub too.

Well Im doing the power inverter way right now, so wish me luck.

imho

not one company makes the best of everything, so I like to combine a few different brands I see fit and how i like them

I like your choices except 6x9's I really dont care for them in general, much less any coax for that matter

if you want a hand withthe glassing lemme know, I can help ya
