And so does the good call on shutting off the engine with no oil and saving it.

However, forgetting to put the bolt in does not ;)

Nice try but your kind of off, the drain plug was in, it vibrated out at 70+ mph. This was on my way back from the FL mall on the turnpike. Guess those balance shafts were important

Tight is very good, loose is not, remember that, if it's loose it's time for a retread.

Also I switched from using RTV to seal it to a little rubber o ring that was supposed to seal it, I think the RTV works better. Consequently I think I forgot to torque er down good.

Yup. Most of the cost was getting the car towed off the turnpike.

Ha AAA has saved me before, like when my driveshaft blew out and I had to get the car home so I could fix it cause I was in the middle of no where.

In the past 2 years my car has been towed twice. Once from G-ville to O-town on a $50 rental U-haul tow dolly with my friends Suburban (could have cost a lot more if I didn't have such a good friend), and once off the turnpike. So far I have totalled $100 towing in since I have had the car. So unless AAA also rebuilds engines, then I don't think it would have benefitted me much to pay them every month for service.

I have roadside assistance through my auto insurance, cost like $2 a month, and does everything AAA does.

It would cost me about 30 per year to have it. Just don't have it yet
