OK I Have a 91 9000 first major problem is a cold start issue when i crank it up from sitting all night crank starts and dies if i unplug the maf and run it till it warms up will start and run fine after it heats up revs all the way to redline with or with out maf attached after heating when cold it just dies consently after warmed up car runs great

second problem is dash lights not working including gauge cluster cant figure it out not a fuse

dont want to just throw parts at it hoping someone on here has ran into some simaler issues with this pos

 

does it have a chevy motor in it, reason I ask is that this is the GM section

yes I know GM owns Saab, but I think as you can see he hasnt had a answer yet, so maybe its the wrong section. oh yes its a 1991, GM didnt own Saab back then. 1999 then totally in 2000

 

Does it stall without braking?I recommend checking the intake and AIC plumbing and see if there are cracks.Also you should have ABS so it would have no direct effect on the motor control, most especially if your car does not establize with running or when near idle.
