Well once again I was robbed of a legitimate 1st place finish by a faster interloper being bumped into ASP but I still got a trophy for second so I'm a happy camper. Its my first SCCA trophy so I'm proud to add it to my garage's trophy shelf.
Despite some screw ups on the sharp turn I am happy to report that out of 6 runs I never went off course or hit a cone. My best time was a 68.048.
There are pics of todays results sheets below for those who need to look up any results.

I guess they never hung your time sheets.
I also just noticed your run group's times were missing when I went to look for some results.
This is everything they had up at the end of the day.

Although I can't remember your name right now, you had the red trailer with all the tools, right?
If so, me and my friend Bill thank you very much for the use of your tools, we were able to get the new axle in and he drove the car back to tampa without any problems. When we were done we looked for you to return the tools but didn't see you anywhere and your trailer was gone, so we gave the tools to Shawn.

Thanks for giving the tools to Shawn. He has my cordless drill. He borrowed it on Sat. He tried to put Frank Edwards 315's on his Crown Vic. They didn't fit.
Glad to be able to be of help and that you made it back to Tampa okay.
I'm glad I left early. When I got home in Ocala, my wife was sick and I had to take her to the hospital. She is still there undergoing tests. Looks like she will be okay.
See you at the next GIR event

I was that "faster" interloper....I wish there were more S2K's there, I hate getting bumped up, but just had a good day. Congrats on the ASP win. I'll never leave B-Stock, because I'd be racing in ASP against cars like yours all the time.

Yes, thanks again for the tools, and sorry I couldn't get them to you in time. I ended up leaving them over at the SCCA truck with Shawn I believe.
Hope your wife feels better. :(

Hey man, nice to see you on TR. Congrats on your win too.
Both of us were lucky that some of the more formidable automobiles that usually occupy ASP were not in attendance.

Yeah Dave the tools are in the back of the SCCA van. I hope your wife feels better very soon! And... thank you for letting me play in the Blue Lola.
I'm glad everyone had fun. BUT it sucks that we coincided with GCAC, THAT"S why nobody showed up. Dangit. We didn't break even this time, oh well. We over did it on the first one so, it evened out.

Jesse and Shawn
Thanks for the kind words and thoughts about my wife.
She is still in the hospital. She might be released on Wednesday. As of now, the diagnosis is a small stroke. She is doing pretty good, but is very tired.
Hope we have a good turnout for Nov. Don't know if I will make it.
The red car needs an engine rebuild, leaking oil out of the front of the motor. Hope to have it done before the first of the year.
See ya soon
Dave

I brought my wife home from the hospital on Tues night. She is doing pretty good, taking it easy. The verdict was she had a TIA. She will be okay, and hope that she is in the seat of her blue Lola next year.
Thanks for the offers to help. I'll let you know.
