The miata club lets other cars run at their events.

as do the porsche & bmw clubs
look at it this way.. if the car clubs practice exclusivity, it raises the per-person cost.

Gainesville International Raceway
check out the links sticky at the top of the forum.
there should be a link to the CFR region SCCA web site, and there will be a flyer for the event at the page.
on the flyer there should be directions to the site.

The club you are referring to is the Sunriders Miata club www.sunriders.com
They race at the St. Pete Clooege campus police proving grounds. The faciliy is a bit small, but the surface is okay, the miata guys are top notch. Real nice group of people who are there to have fun. You don't need a Miata either, any car will do. They have a calendar on their site, I suggest you go there and check it out, The entry fee is $20 bucks I think...and they feed you a catered lunch too!!!
Its a really good way to cut your teeth in the autocross world. Bring sunscreen and shade, its freakin hot out there. Good luck.

I love how the whole 'international' thing got added to Gainesville Raceway by Frank... BTW it is NOT nor ever will be Gainesville INTERNATIONAL Raceway... it's an NHRA Drag Strip with a Training Road Course.
gIr, lol
