On the bridge last night was a black '03 Cobra, and there was gointo be money race on the bridge, so alot of cars followed out. Me and th Cobra are the third cars in the line of cars. So the cars infront of us go and me and the "supercharged beast" hit it off from a small first gear roll. We stay even through first and as soon as he snatches seconI began a slow steady pull. When it was all said and done I was out by 3 cars. I didnt have a bottle in the car. So now I dont think my other Cobra kill was fluke, there just slow. I made 335rwhp which puts me around 385 at the crank, 5 less than the Cobra, but the mighty LS1 just out breaths the blower up top.
interesting because the Cobra makes about 360 at the rear wheels..
i say the guy didnt knwo how to dirve ;)
whats your Z weigh ?
good kill though :)

Strange, no LS1 has beaten my Cobra on the street yet. Though, my cobra didnt start getting fast till 2,500 miles or so.. Just like my LS1 did.. I wonder what I am dyno'ing these days ;)

A lot of people say that the Cobra's IRS sucks. Did Ford do a poor job designing it? The Vette has as IRS and rarly hear people say it hinders them? I am just asking a question....not flaming anyone. :D
Patrick
yes, i was wondering the same thing. some kid here on campus is driving around in a new vette...which made me want to ask how the new cobra's suspension compares...

Good kill!
Uncle Ben knows IRS can work quite well if you have something good to start with.

I am having a hard time believing you are racing competent drivers or you are really using a little squueze because as Zate said the 03's are making 360 at the wheels and every magazine that has tested them has had no problem getting mid 12's out of them. Your car should weigh a little less but not much. Maybe I need to convince Aharon to let me race you at the track one of these days.

I can't speak for the drivers but i definately had no bottle. On Fri after getting my bottle filled, I was tourquing it closed and theend of the nut on the bottle snapped off into the line. It's still there as we speak. I showed everyone and made it public that I would not be spraying. :(

Good kill thug!!!
not cutting down on the new cobra, heaven knows id get one, but check out this vid, sentra vs 03 cobra, this was his quote off another site.
http://spoof3d.com/projects/2oo/vid...a_vs_Sentra.mpg
""It is all homemade. I did it myself using a 91 rx-7 turbine "exhaust" housing wheel and cartidge, and a T04e compressor housing 54 trim. I am using stock electronics with additional fuel supplied by a NOS fuel silinoid and 4 more injectors. The intercooler is a cut down Sylvia core with homemade end tanks and piping. I had various help with opinions and ways of doing things from a variety of people. and yes it would be expensive to have someone do this, well over 1000 dollars. "
