I live in lakeland and I think the drive is about 45mins from what I've heard from here...take that as you like.....I'm still debating going to the SCCA autoX or the PCA one in Zephyrhills(I'm leaning to the SCCA one because I need to deputy SS there)

which one has a nicer course.

I've not been to either, but here is what I know...

PCA: Old airport -- no shade -- terrible pavement

VCC: Community College Parking Log -- row of shade trees -- pavement? (better than an unkept runway)

I'll be on street tires for a while. 1. I'm building a house and can't really splurge until closing. 2. New suspension -- i need to relearn the car

Chet, I seem to recall you talking some smack recently...... come out to VCC and put up....

what time does the event at valencia get underway? i'm assuming 9-10 is vehicle inpsection?

vcc sounds like the nicer course, however its like 2.5 hours away, so i'd have to get up at 6 to make it.

are yuo driving there with other drivers? or staying in orlando tonight?

if you're meeting, where are you meeting, because i'd like to drive out there with other people.

plus it would be great to race everyone!

I'm driving out in the morning. I figure 1.5 hours from where I live (new tampa). Registration closes at 9:15, so I'd like to be there by 8:30. I'm targeting 8am, so will be getting up at 6. :)

I'll be on street tires, but we'll see what happens. :)

Well today kicked ass, I had the best time out of any auto-x i've attended. The course was perfect. I ended up pulling a 28.886 on my 3rd run, everything felt perfect and I knew when I finished that it was my best run of the day. It was also nice meeting you Leonard, you should come back to VCC again sometime.

It was good meeting you as well. I'll be back, but not without VictoRacers.... I was pretty happy with 4th place considering my lack of traction. I didn't see the final times, but I think my last run was a low 31 which I'm quite pleased with for my first outing on the new suspension.
