Need help.. blown turbo?
i have a 2000 civic si with a b18 built bottom end on boost t3/t4 turbo. It is creating vac and boost like normal but i noticed some white smoke coming out of my exhaust today and my turbo when i checked it has side to side play but not up and down.. the turbine wheel still spins freely and doesn't hit the housing at all so i have no idea whats wrong is my turbo on its way out?

White smoke could be coolant, you may have stretched the headbolts and in the process of eating up a headgasket. Time to do a compression check.

That doesnt mean its not on its way out... Blue is oil, black is rich, white is water... Do a compression test to check

yeah its like greyish i think according to my friend.. ill do a compression test to make sure

yeah like it wiggles back and forth but i cant move it in and out of the housing it just wiggles a little and spins smooth
