i was reading other posts and saw that oct 5th there is auto x there and i just happen to be going there anyway so i might as well go right! woohoo. anyone got like cell numbers/way to contact so i can meet up with some of the tampa guys there and stuff.

Hey, I'm a friend of Dave Y's (I've seen you guys play DDR), maybe we could get a small crew together from Largo and go up there. I've been wanting to get involved in auto-crossing (recently got my SCCA membership) but haven't even bought my tires yet. I'd be willing to make a few runs on my street tires.

The track surface at GIR is very easy on street tires, and a good site for starting out in autocross.

If you cannot make it up on Fri night be sure to get at the track early on Sat AM, for registration and tech.

I live in Tampa (Temple Terrace).

However, I just remembered that I have some volunteering that I'm doing on 10/05, so next time...
