Default will it work

I have a bottom mount t28 and was wondering if it can be used to top mount. i want to use this turbo because it not stock internals. I am getting 20psi from it and still works great.

you are a retard for running 20psi on a t28(if its oem spec). To answer your question, yes such of a thing can be done, you will need to source a t2 top mount manifold, get ss braided lines, turbo elbow extended or get a custom downpipe made, and have a bunch of people point, laugh, and then punch you in the head for doing something that just plain dumb.

Leave it alone since it works fine how it is. If you are some complex individual who NEEDS top mount, then yes you can move it. I know there is a company that makes a top mount t28 manifold and downpipe for use on Datsun 510's. Not cheap though. Which brings me back to my first point, don't bother.

Yes, it will work. More trouble than it's worth though.

Putting a t28 on a top mount manifold really serves no purpose other than looks. The turbo will not function any better or gain any efficiency. You'd basically be buying a t3 manifold hacking it up and modifying it to accept a t2 flanged turbo. You'll also have to make a new exhaust housing, inlet and outlet piping, re-clock the turbocharger, and re-route all of your oil and coolant lines. I honestly think it's a pretty stupid idea, not to mention it will look retarded with such a tiny turbo. If you want the "big turbo" look. BUY A BIG TURBO!
