Even these pictures don't do it justice. I think I stood there and gawked for a good 15 minutes...I had some company, too :-) (Who was the guy in the Anniversary Edition Miata, btw? Nice talkin' to ya...).

It's SOOO sexy in person, and it looks SO much better in black than that awful orange color the show car was...

gotta say the 350Z wins for me. :D I'll take import over domestic anyday!(but personally the Opel :o was way far cooler than both the Z and the Cobra, but then again Euro Import wins out over Asian Import and definately over domestic anyday!!!) that Opel reminded me of my OTAS:( I want my Italian car :( i miss it!

Is that the same 3.5 found in the Altima and Maxima?

Yeah its the same motor with hotter cams and a few other small things to it. Thats motor is rated at 286 and the maxima is at 255hp.

you can thank Porsche for the styling of the 350Z (look at the side profile.. it SCREAMS 911)

of course it has a bulkier front (no engine there in a 911).. but the basic overall shape is there (ESPECIALLY the roofline)

shawn, My initial thought was audi tt styling, either way definite german influence.

naa, the TT has a lower beltline, and a more constant-radius roofline.

i can definitely see where you come from with the wheel wells (the flares are very TT-ish)

the front is also TT-ish, but i still think the roofline & rear quarter are very 911

GEEEEZ ya'll are killin' me with the bigass pics. My 56K modem is hating me right now.
I love the new 350Z, in my book it is the quintessential (sp?) sportscar on the current market. It offers world class performance, its rear drive and is not unattainable for your average shmo. Looks way better than a 911 too. There are similarities to a TT, but I think it is a fitting modern interpretation of the true Z, the 240. Which is probably one of the best looking cars ever created. Nissan is offically back!
