4.6 2v versus 4.6 3v
I'm looking at a 2010 Ford F150, it as the 4.6 engine but all the VIN number identifies the engine as a "4.6L".
This truck comes with both the 4.6 2v and the 4.6 3v, how do I tell the difference just by looking under the hood? I know what the 1990s stuff looks like but would it be safe to say that the 4.6 2v has the stamped metal valve covers and the 4.6 3v has the cast aluminum valve covers? It appears to be like the modern 4.6 3v mustangs but I want to be sure.
The belt sticker under the hood says "4.6 and 5.4" but I can't find any other info.

^ thanks you're awesome, I thought that was the case but I'm not familiar with the 3 valvers so I wasn't sure.
I also discovered that the last 8 digits of the VIN will tell you whether or not it's a 2 or 3v. It's definitely a 3.
Thanks so much for your help
