you should probably as larry on this one.
I think the axles you need to make a frankenstein one. If i remember right, you need 2 driver side axles from something.. then the intermediate shaft is 1/2 something and 1/2 something else... lol, i cant think for shit right now

The shifter/cables are from a T2 Shelby Daytona. The axles were a hybrid setup. My memory is failing me now, but I believe the passenger side has the 555 input shaft from the Daytona mated with a stock axle (joined at the universal joint) while the drivers side is an axle out of 90 auto Omni.
Also, the rear trans mounting tab doesnt line up with the bobble strut on the trans. Thus, you need to use a longer bolt with some spacers to make it work. Or, you can remove the existing tab off the frame and reweld it over a few inches to line up.
I miss that Omni!

damn I had to cut the cables on that Daytona  If i would hve remembered I would have grabbed them too. :x I got both axles from the Daytona. Might need to get some Omni axles. Hmmm I think I might have a spare set of GLH axles. Gotta dig in the shed when I get down there. If all goes right, I might have a Base GLH and 4SFED. hehe. Stock boost (yeah sure) on 4SFED, and lotsa boost on the conversion omni. Hmmmm......

Your old Omni??? :D:D:D Safely parked under my carport. :D We also had that 87 Omni I bought off Greg with the drive train/wiring harness from an 85 GLH Turbo. Ripped the 87 apart, swapped wires, etc,etc... and viola, a "normal" omni (If you can over look the 5-lug wheels, only clue as to whats up) with a T1 transplant. It was a PITA, had to convert the car to manual in the process. So now we kinda have twins :D
