Default weight reduction on factory doors on a fox

Just wondering if any of you guys had done this in the past, and scaled the shit coming out. I know the newer fox's had a smaller door brace, I think the 90 and older had the bigger one?

I just did mine on a 92 with power windows and locks, I removed everything but the door panel and installed lexan. I was quite surprised using my scale witch always shows a few pounds lighter, It was 25lbs a door! Not that I needed to get rid of it, but now I can put the weight were I need it.

Are you going to have any tech issues with Lexan in the doors?

What we used to do back in the early days of Pro Stock (when they actually were a lot more "Stock") was to acid dip the doors trunk and roof panels. That way they passed the magnet test but you could almost push you finger through them. I don't know anyone who has an acid tank anymore.

Look at the weights for the class, most if not all should clear them easily. The only reason I was removing weight is so I can put it were I want it, who knows it might go back to the middle of the chassis? I think I have to weigh 3,300lbs with the new promod 88
