Competent Mechanics and Shops for MR2s please!!

The local mechanics in my area of Sarasota are all idiots!! Not one has ever worked on a two less seen one in my area and they seem to be quoting me the same prices at the dealers in my area!! I'm really reluctant to take my car to the dealer unless its the only choice because I don't really trust those bastards!! :x Anyway, I would like to know any competent and recognized shops in the Sarasota/Bradenton/Tampa area who knows what they are talking about. I really need someone who knows thier way around a two. I already had a tragedy with an eclipse using my local tuning shops and thier not as complex as the 2. Any info would really be appreciated.

Pretty much the only guy I would ever trust at a Toyota dealership is a guy named Ryan Coberly who works at Toyota Stadium on Dale Mabry in Tampa. Not only is he a Mater Technian but he's owned a MR2 turbo that he modified himself. He has dropped numerous MR2 engines and has replaced the turbo's on them. I was very impressed with his professionalism and always gave a straight answer to all of my questions. He even has a 3 car garage at his house that has a lift to work on cars on the side for extra money. He made me feel better when he told me that he would be the only one working on my car and nobody else. He's a cool guy and you should give him a call.
