I'm considering a pair of these to replace my tokico blues in the rear of my car, but I've heard and read horror stories of these blowing out and leaking oil and whatnot. Should these be avoided? Feedback from people who have them would be lovely.

I have them.
They will only blow if you drop you car more than 2 inches.
The instructions warn you about this, and it voids the warranty.

I have em. I've autoxed on them. I like em a lot. Haven't had any problems with them blowing or leaking or anything.

T.I.N.S.T.A.F.L..... There is no such thing as a free lunch. My high school economics teacher told us this on the first day of class, and I'll be damned if she wasn't right.

AGX's are fine, I've had mine for over 35,000 miles and they still work great. And I don't baby them, they've been rally-crossed on a few times and autocrossed hundreds of times...and I'm still pretty quick.

Could you spend more...sure. But decide what you are looking for in a shock/strut, don't pay for what you don't need! Hell, if money isn't an object buy a set of DMS Gold 50mm coil-overs! :)
