According to an AP story, a Trans-Am went out of control and ran into a crowd of spectators. The event was a one-mile "Solo" in downtown Hastings, Nebraska, put on by the Council of Motorsports Clubs. The same group puts on a downtown event in Cheyenne, WY every year.
