This is one of the reasons why Mazda Tech has been dead for years. People like you say to go look somewhere else for answers. If We just have links to other web-forums what's the point for them to stay here ?? There is no point. Might as well have a big sign that says Don't waste your time in here go to rx7club and join. There is nothing wrong with having our own information for our members.

That's the way things go. Local forums aren't meant to be databases, or replacements of any form for a model-specific forum. People know to look somewhere else for answers because there are more elsewhere. Nobody is going to start spending time here instead of the club (or other Mazda forums) because you put together 5% of the info that they have. If the forum isn't active, it's because there just aren't that many local Mazda people who want to socialize. No big deal.

Apparently you weren't a member of Mazda Tech back in 2003-2005. This was a very active forum. One of the better groups to be a part of. You could ask any question and you have a ton of members in here helping you out, We had threads with info and all. What ruined this forum was the moderation, and people sending others to other forums that had the info they requested. This forum won't be active if we aren't willing to help out the members or guests who ask for help or just send them away to rx7club. We have to find ways to keep them active in this forum. We have to find ways to keep them coming back to Mazda Tech. Sending them off to rx7club isn't going to help.

well, honestly, this forum well never be as good as one of the big mazda only forum. i look at this place as a place to see what people around here are doing, or what i can do to hang out with other rotards around here. thats what i like about this place, on rx7club i never bother to look for anything local. Iam not saying you shouldnt try to do what your doing, just saying we should try to better the local group thing before we sticky a bunch of info ya know?

But Cordite you are the man for doing something while others just bitch.

CoRDiTe thanks for trying. But you other people why bother posting in a FAQ when you have nothing to contribute but arguments, go start another thread and stop ruining this forum. If a mod would kindly deleted their post and clean this up would be nice.
