I have KYB AGX 4-way adjustables.....I know that doesn't leave much room for lots of adjustment....but does anyone have any suggestions what I should set them at for autoxing this weekend. I run them on 2 up front and 3 on the rears for the street.

Since the FSF auto-x course is not bumpy you will want to set those things to the stiffest settings.

The only reason not to go with the stiffest dampner is if when there is going to be some serious wheel movement that needs to be dampened without upsetting the car.

Your rears aren't 8-way adjustable? My AGX's are.

I run 2f/4r on the street.
3f/7r for autocross.
This weekend I am trying 3f/8r.
Maybe 2f/8r.

I keep hearing that full soft in the front and full stiff in the rear
is better for FF cars. Especially those without a big rear anti-roll bar.

you dont want to set the fronts too soft, because your turn-in will suffer. id try something like 3 front and full stiff in the back.

If you want to read up on the details of shock tuning, here is one of the better articles I could locate on the subject.

After brushing up on the subject I see why my rear shocks being shot are agravating my understeer problems at the apexes of sharp corners.

I guess my next auto-x investment will be a new rear pair of Konis or Bilsteins.
