I am getting tired of this damn NA 4cyl, so I figured I do some ranting and postwhoring all at once.

At least then I can blame breaking parts on running too much boost :D

I think I might do that MPI conversion to the Aries then throw on a junkyard mitsu turbo just for kicks. 4-6psi of boost sounds safe :lol:

Just to hold me over while I build some badazz T1/T2 block for the car.

All that damn noise coming from my car is not from the accesories. Going to drop the pan tomarrow and check to make sure everything is kosher, despite the fact that I doubt I will find anything there. Today I found one of my transmission mount bolts missing from its hole. Turns out it worked its way out and was sitting on the dif case, suprised I didn't lose it. I sure hope that didn't fuxor up the torque converter or pump.

I just got one of those mechanics stethoscopes so tomarrow I will also see if the noise is from that area. If it is I am going to assume that it is the torque converter, flexplate, or pump. Oh did I mention that the other top bolt, right beside the one that came out, was loose?

Next time I will be drenching them bishes in thread locker. I should have known better.

my spirit had the converter bolts loosten up on me when i first put the T2 in. Made a nasty noise. Tightened them down like a mofo next time and they have been good. Good luck MauRICE.. hope it isnt anything that a can of yellow spray paint cant fix

Pulled a T2 out of CDM and the center of the flexplate was ripped out.

I was asking about the 2.5L Dak engine because I thought the wiring and ECU might be good for a full sequential Multipoint fuel injection conversion on a 2.5L /4 instead of a TBI ECU rigged to batch fire all the injectors.

I actually haven't seen that yet. They would also have to put the fender flares on it to. I know one person that retained his stock V6 badging and added fender flares and R/T wheels, I think the Daks look good like that.
