Another Paint job from us! ( well now me )
Had to fire my helper a couple weeks ago so jobs are a little slower now but not really, he was a slacker,
anyways this job is my wifes truck and we were on a very tight time frame, she was having to use her mothers car to get to and from work and could not use it very long so we had to do the long day thing, she would come over after work and help me out and I would not have gotten it done in the time I had if she did not.
Anyways it is a 96 ford ranger splash edition step side, original color was caution sign yellow, it had been hit with some black a couple years ago that was laid on WAY to heavy so all that had to be taken off on the spots where it was rippled, the rest was just like doing any other job, did not get many pics of the process due to the lack of sleep, but the job was start to finish in 8 working days, average work day was from about 6 a.m. to 10 P.M. but it got the normal primer, sealer, base coat, clear coat, jambs and engine bay were just blacked out and the inside of the bed and the rails that go on the top sides will all be done in rhino liner.
Did not have time to do the wet sand and buff like I like to but just did not have enough time, and honestly it really does not need it, and one thing I want to add is, THE PICS DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE, YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS THING IN THE SUN LIGHT!!!!
And on to the pics, hope you all like it, and please let me know what you think, Thanks for looking.
