We've setup an email list for the CFR West Solo 2 group. If any of who attend events with us have any ideas or suggestions to contribute OR you want to stay in the loop as to changes we are making to make events run more smoothly, please come and sign up.

Actually, I have now gotten our Auto-X room dedicated to Auto-X so I'm going to be contacting Neal about dissolving the yahho group (because it's annoying to read) and have everyone just join TR and have a happy home in this forum.

I second Joe's suggestion. I want TR to be my one stop shop for everything automotive. It also consumes all my free time so I don't really have a chance to go anywhere else on the internet any more.

On one hand, it's a great idea, and I'm glad that we are now separate from the Drag Racers. They've become quite unfriendly to the autox 'bandwagon' and are being surprisingly unwelcoming to new participants in their sport. That's one of the reasons I like autox. The people tend to welcome new people with open arms regardless of what they drive or how 'fast' it is. Frankly, the way some people have bashed autox in general this week, I'd be ashamed to send new enthusiasts here.
I'm sure there are some 'affiliation' issues between CFR-SCCA and TR as well as the fact the the TR Autox board is a general autox board and has alot of discussion as it pertains to PCA, Sunriders, et al. Additionally, there is a staff group as well.
Possibly a setup like MMTB has where it's a separate forum hosted by TR/superfreeway.com. I'm thinking something along the lines of: forums.cfrwestsolo2.org. But that'll take a little time to setup and we would definitely need Aharon's support on that.

Being that many of the *core* members of CFR also participate in the aforementioned events (sunriders, PCA, etc) I dont there's much of a problem.
