It's the best 4 cyl in the world, no questions asked. 90-94 has the 4 bolt differential plus the 92 has the 6 bolt flywheel. There is a drift kit (for the 92-94) that you can put on for 1000 dollars (it looks better than the 2G eclipse IMO), plus they sell skyline lights for the back.
Yes it is a fast car. With a 16G turbo upgrade you have 12.5 seconds EASY. Plus it's 14.1 stock, can we say V8 KILLER? Yes. I can't wait til I get a 92-94 Talon TSI AWD.
Just make sure your first mods are a boost controller and a turbo timer. Turbo timer is essential, you don't wanna kill your turbo.
Another great thing about AWD is being able to launch at 4,000 RPMS without skirting a tire!!!

And by the way, the stock 1g mitsu 4g63 motor can handle about 28 PSI of boost STOCK MAX. Don't run 28 on the road though, just the track. I'd only pump it to 25 on the road.
If you want to know what DSMs can do, ask me.

Dude I sure hope you dont drive a DSM cause you don't what the hell you are talking about. I would love to see you take a stock talon and run 28 pounds on it and see how long it lasts. I think you need to go spend about a month on www.dsm.org before you go talking liek you know all about DSM's. I am sure others will agree with me.
turbo timer is already accounted for and i think im going to go with the Apexi AVC-R boost controller (ne suggestions?) i been reading that the clutches go pretty easily...is this true and how is it diff from switching the clutch in a civic? still gotta unbolt the tranny and pull out the engine?
btw 28psi is a shit load of boost on stock internals...im not sure on how they handle but i was only going to run about 5-8 psi daily driven...maybe turn it up to 12 for the occaisional race...with the proper modifications of course

1. AWD DSM's do not run 14.1 stock. 15.1 is more like it.
2. stock psi is about 11psi. You can't turn it down to 6 even if you wanted to. You can run 15psi safely on the stock fuel pump.
3. If I see your Eclipse / Talon with Altezza lights, I will personally bash them to pieces.
Thanks for playing. Have a nice day.

I can't take it anymore, there is much more to it than you are leading onto, you go running 28psi of boost on a high mileage engine and you are looking to bust some ring lands, blow a head gasket, etc.
25psi on the street, I hope this isn't on pump gas, you are really trying to coax somebody into really blowing something up.
