Default question about b20b into da9

I blew up my ls(b18a1) and was thinking about putting a b20b in or maybe a b18b is there any changes that i have to make to my harness to run either one of these or am i gonna need a different ecu? Or can i jus drop it in with my stock harness/ecu? Also am i gonna need new mounts or anything different at all for either one of these?

Reuse the intake manifold with all sensors and injectors off the a1 and put it on the b20b. You will have to change the block mount that hooks to your stock motor mount. Use the mount from the b18a1. Basically you need a lot of stuff off your a1 to get a b20b to work.

As for a b18b1, all you should need is the injectors off your b18a1.

The b20 is not hard at all to get in there so don't make it sound like it is. It's a few sensor swaps plus the b20 is a better motor anyway in my opinion.

First off what year is your car? If it is a 92-93 and the moor you get is 94-95 then it makes a couple things simpler because no need to convert from one obd to another. I would run the ls intake myself and the mount bracket he was refering to is the driver side mount by the head. Pull off timing belt upper cover an swap it with the brackett on your a1 this applies to both b1 and b20. If you need any help feel free to call me at 727-768-9917 Terry @ T & C Racing
