:monkpiss: You only like it because it has a 2.2 turbo and your rr fpr :monkpiss: .
All motor :bling: :monkspank: , thats my story and I'm sticking to it.

Actually, it doesn't look to bad, nasty sleeper. The turbo looks kind of tight but was probably easier than (get ready for the can of worms to be opened) putting the mitsu head on it. haha

Yeah, I was there. I go up there pretty often actually. I'm gonna start going to Race Related more often. They are more of a performance oriented shop and No Limit mainly caters to rice. They are good guys though. I have been going there since they opened. Anyone got a 2.4L to donate to me for a swap? I so want to do that swap. I just like the idea of a larger engine in a Neon. No one would expect it. Then after the swap, I'll build that one. Not getting the results I want from my 2.0L. I think my timing might be off alittle. I run 16.5's w/ Automatic Throttle body, Mopar PCM, Hot Air intake (I mean hot!) and AFX Solid Steel Motor Mounts. If anyone wants to give me a hand, I'm broke, so any help is appreciated. Also, all advice is welcome.

Kind of curious, what is your idea of rice?? If its your car in the pic, it looks as though you have an airplane wing on the back of your car.

Ive been driving by No Limit about 10 times a night since they opened. I've watched them grow, the customers come, lol.. i feel like part of the family. Either that, or a stalker. I havent went in there yet, i dont think they sell shit for my dodge spirit! To tell you the truth, they have surprised me. I thought they would last 6 months and then go broke since they are just another bolt-on shop. They dont have anythin really special to offer that no one else does. Actually, didnt they kinds go broke and some other guy bought 1/2? I know a some about their store from what i hear from others.

My vision of rice isn't the outward or inward apperience of ones car or anything physical. Its a state of mind. People that feel that participating in the nights activities includes fly-bys, burnouts, and other stupid acts involving ones car.
I started my build w/ the outside of my car rather them the inside. Now that the outside is done (w/ the exception of a paint job), I have started working on the engine bay. You'll notice my current list of mods on a post I wrote earlier.
I simply want a car I can be proud of and enjoy. I don't care what anyone else thinks. If they so desire, they can build one better and show me the error of my ways.
Sorry, got carried away.
I like my car, thats all that matters, right?

I highly agree with what you said, and yes the most important thing is that you like your car. 95% of the time, owners of cars with heavily modified exteriors have that mentality, and thats not an easy prejudice to break especially from the police even when you have done absolutely nothing wrong.

2.4 Turbo, Mexican Stratus engine. I have been waiting to see what would come of that project, I kept checking the site but I didn't find this page where they actually have the engine in the car. I like the fact that the car has a very stock exterior appearance :smirk:

Ok let me rephrase this. It is a 2.4/2.0l with a turbo that is from a 2.2 ie a garrett turbo.

ok, im trying the quick reply thing.. lets see what it does.
I wonder if the Mitsy 420a head and the dodge 420a head are the same as far as manifold bolt spacing and port spacing goes. If they are, that means you can put a mitsy 420a head onto a 2.0 neon and slap on the mexican 2.4 turbo exhaust manifold, right? That would make it so damn easy to turbo a neon.

Yeah but didn't they use a 2.4L turbo head? If you use a 420a mitsu head then you have to change out the valves and springs to use the turbo. I don't see the problem with just leaving it in the back unless you plan on exchanging turbos all the time. It may look like a tight fit but I bet its fine where it is. I wouldn't be suprised if it was a tight fit in a stratus either. Just IMHO.

Couldn't get on the site for some reason, someone tell me what it is and post a pic if possible.
Last night I was plesently suprised. I decided I was gonna race for the first time in a ong time. (I have a class A CDL I don't want to lose.) Anyways, I lined up w/ an Accord auto w/ 45 dry shot. We were door to door for first and second. Third gear, he pulled from me but slowly. It was a good race. Best I have had in a long time. The best part about it was that he runs consistant times of 14.9's so if I'm only losing by a car in the 1/4, I'm running low 15's. I'm much happier knowing I run low 15's then mid 16's ut I knew the car was not running very good at the track. I raced 2 more times against a 240 SX and beat him both times but the second time, I broke an exhaust hanger for the muffler and draged it back by the pipes. Its al good thugh. I got speaker wire and bungy cords holding it up time Monday.
I know its not the kills section but just though I would post that.
