I'm tired of my sunroof leaking. I'm wanting know what would be the best way to go:

Taking my car to an auto body shop and getting the sunroof covered with sheet metal

OR

Find the same model car that doesn't have a sunroof and replace it with mine

which would look better and or cost less?

is it the seal that leaking or do u have like rust or something? cuz mine doesnt work but i just grabbed one off of ebay for like 100 bucks and my boy is puttin it all in, so the question is, is it worth it . I think it would cost more to do what ur sayin but i could be wrong i dunno. I have a crazy good hook up at a friend of mines salvage yard -so let mme know

Buy some new seals for it, and clean out all the water drain tubes. You should have 4 or 2 in your sunroof. You can just run a thin wire to break whatever is blocking it. That would be a lot cheaper then going ghetto and welding it shut.

Also its tough welding onto sheet metal the metal will warp if not done right.

its not the water drains.. it could be the seal.. I dont know where to find a seal for my sunroof.. Ive looked and theres some out there.. but it doesnt specify for what model... a coupe or a hatch? I have a coupe.. Just looking to fill in the hole or replace the whole roof... any ideas?
