I know Progressive or Geico can offer it as part of their insurance, a la cart of course. My friend has/had it and it worked for him. But that service was offered as part of his major insurance carrier and not a small off brand.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

scam, although i did purchase an extended warranty way back when i purchased my gst used, got it from GTE FCU for around 800 bucks, it saved my ass when the tranny pooped and the turbo and manifold took a shit, i paid a 100 dollar deductible and they spent around 3500 on repairs they found, i would say i got my moneys worth.

ones through the finance companies or larger insurance companes (geico, state farm, ETC) are worth it but the ones like US Fidelis, and MOGI are scams.

a friend of mine had US Fidelis and they wouldnt fix her transmission when it went out on her Jeep because the mount broke too and thats not covered. They said if she diddnt have a broken trans mount too they would have fixed it but since thats not covered they wont pay for anything. She ended up taking them to court. They still did not have to pay to fix the repairs but they did have to refund all of the money she paid which covered the repair costs.

theres quit a lot of them at there that do work, but its generally not any maintence items, like tires, brakes, tune ups. And im sure most are going to have you prove the car is fine and not already broke

Got burned by one when I owned my shop, but it was one of the smaller companies. I refused to accept them since
