Oh man I had a blast on Saturday!! I really want to thank all the hard work that went into organizing the event. You guys really put together a top-notch event. Im just sorry I was unable to attend Sunday with my on call pager responsibilities. :(

I really need to replace my crappy stock Potenza RE92s with something a little bit more appropriate. For my 2nd autox event I was pretty happy with my times 65.552+1 65.278 64.045 O/C. The O/C on the last run that had my car sliding sideways into the center of the track after I crunched going into 2nd gear and geeked it getting back on the throttle. I still have grass and dirt all inside my car from that little move. :( Messy and slightly embarrassing but fun as hell.

Btw Im the guy that had the Blue WRX. Im hoping my wife will come out next time with our RSX too. :)

Yup that was me. You guys put a smile on my face on the interstate when I look over and see the passenger in the Civic wearing a helmet. I was hauling ass trailing my loco co-worker in the Cobra sporting the V1 radar detector. The traffic was very forgiving in the morning making it an very enjoyable safe-fast drive from Tampa. ;) I75 congestion was another story on the way home. :( Hope to see you guys again soon!

OUCH sunburn... ;)

You guys never came to say hi! I get this thing together for you and what do I get not even a hi? LOL glad you guys had fun though.
The guy in the metallic Cobra who crossed the finish backwards was Leonard... I was his driving instructor for that one! Even shaved a 1/2 second off while going backwards!

I really enjoyed watching the WRX visit teh dirt it so craves to drive on! That had to be a blast.

ME? I drove the 138 SM Mustang GT. I was hoping to meet some of you I only met Taka... And thank you Taka for coming up and volunteering to help early in the morning! It was greatly appreciated.

Hope to see you guys again soon!

I guess I missed you. Did you have the Mustang with the camera mounted to the passenger headrest?

Any clue on an exact date for the next Gainesville event? Next time I want to be out for both days and I need to get time off of work in advance to do so.

Yes backwards at 65mph is fun. I highly recommend that you all try it. Hopefully traction wont be an issue next time. Im looking for a set of take off wheels that I can slap a set of Kumhos vs on..... Hopefully Ill have all poly bushing stiffer springs (lower too) and blisteins all around by next outing..... :evil5:

Who knows really I dont even know the date yet!where you the one yelling at everyone to keep going?

Yeah that was me...
Everyone was treating the parade lap like it was their chance to accelerate into a corner youre not supposed to get too much space between you and the next car becasue that promotes a higher speed during hte parade lap. You want to drive pretty slow so you can take in a few visual cues and know where to brake and speed up.
As far as teh yelling goes some people had just been bugging me about something that was none of their concern I was a bit on edge at teh time.
Sorry about that.
