I have a friend with a early 90s mirage turbo and hes looking to make it faster...

what is there for him to do or what sites should he reference for ideas...
hes found NOS kits but his trunk is a little full of stereo lol

Ive been thinking turbo upgrade? or even TSI engine swap?
how would this fare for him is it possible and $$ ?

4g63 swap is the way to go. Since he is starting with the Turbo Mirage he only needs the Engine and ECU. As far as I know the tranny axles wiring harness are all compatible. From there A free flowing intake exhaust fuel pump and manual boost controller would really liven it up. Add a 16g and some slicks and watch the 12 second timeslips stack up.

--heres the edit-- he wants t ostay on the stock engine so who makes boost controllers or a turbo upgrade? Who makes exhaust (or if he upgradesthe turbo can I make him have DUMP!?!?!?
Who makes an intake? Where do you find this stuff!!!???

hes not looking to drag race I dont think but he just wants a pair should he pull up beside me (so hes not looking for much)!!!
