My friend is looking into getting a 3000gt......anybody that has had one or knows enough about them to give me a good opion feel free to do so...also is it rwd or fwd?

Base 3000GTs and 3000GT SLs are FWD non-turbo. VR-4s are AWD AWS Twin Turbo. They are not known to be REALLY reliable They are expensive to upgrade. Nice car though I guess.
