I picked up the paasche airbrushing gun, have a nice compressor with the setup to get desired pressure, and the hose with the evaporator.. Anyways I have tried to use it a couple of times without success and was wondering if anyone had any tips i need to stick to and where i could possibly pick up premixed paints?

what kind of paints are you using in it? you could go to a store called AOE on 56th between fowler and fletcher. they have all the paint you need to get started.

im looking to get paint that sticks to metal well and can easily be mixed to what is necessary for good spray out of the airbrush

there are a bunch of different paints available. depending on what you want to do with it. I would not suggest spraying directly to metal as you might have some corrosion problems down the road. all bare metal should be primed or treated before applying color. auto colors is a water based air brush paint that works well. AOE carries a wide selection of that brand. you can use regular automotive paints just over reduce them so that they flow through the tiny tip of that gun better.
