Who can do a decent paint job? Its really on my daily driver. A 1990 Celica GT. No rust, the clear coat on the roof is fading. I really don't want the car to start rusting. Also I don't want to pay $3000 to paint my $3000 car. has minor dings. I think I'll be getting 2 new fenders because the ones on it have pretty big dents in it.

Maaco or Econo are going to be your best bet.

Tell him I want a name brand paint used and I'm looking for a complete color change including door jambs, engine bay, and trunk area and I have $1000. See if he'll go for it. I really need to get this car painted. Or maybe I could buy materials and pay him like $400???

I've seen that restore your ride shop behind the Race Way. I might have to pay him a visit. I don't really want to do nothing fancy to the car, just need it sanded down and painted back to its original blue color.

You don't think you could do it? Rustoleum is a name brand right? What does a gallon of that and a gallon of mineral spirits run now a days like $45?
