i guess having rust and complete fading panels looks better than a cheap paint job worth 350.....

Worked there for 4 HOURS!!! Trash ALL in the booth, tire shine & dirt still on the car when it was in the booth, it was SOOO BAD! They even sanded the car with 180 and exspected the 1/2 ass sealer to cover the sand scratches. Needed a job really bad but not that bad :( They have crackheads working there. The bad thing is, when I went to tell the owner that I was walking out, before I could open my mouth he told me that I was the best painter he ever had at the shop......I felt bad but I couldn't put my name on that kind of $hit work.

I've had people ask me to fix there cars after they got them painted at these chop shops, one guy actually brought his car up to my work for me to look at it,it was a black Honda Delsol, there was so much dirt and trash under the paint it had actually started to flake off 4 months after it was painted. You get what you pay for.

I went to maaco on palm river in 06 to get my rusted honda painted. I did all the body work necessary myself and paid the extra for machine sanding. for 5 hundo, it was totally worth it imo the paint shined like it did the day I got it back after 3 years un-garaged (and washed maybe once every 2 months)

I was the painter @ Maaco in Ocala and I was VERY impressed on the way they prepped the cars. They DA the entire car, once I got it, I would wipe it down with wax&grease remover, hit it with a tack cloth and then actually use sealer before any color went on. If I were to goto any Maaco, I would goto the one in Ocala. I actually painted my hatch there but used my own materials as I only shoot PPG on my own projects. BTW they used Nason and DuPont.

econo on fowler and florida did a decent job on my friends coupe. all it had was some orange peel and a little run in the paint on the front bumper. easily fixed w/ wet sanding.

I had Maaco spray my car and it had fucking rocks in the paint. Not to mention orange peel, fish eyes, overspray, and all sorts of other shit.

Go to a real painter and get your shit painted. Realize painting costs time and money and expect to pay for it. Otherwise buy some rattle cans and paint your shit yourself. I'd stack my rattle can paintjobs up against the shit work Econo does any day, for the simple fact that I put time and effort into it.
