Here is some pictures of a car I finished recently. Has only been two four shows and has taken home the following trophies...

Best of show
Best of show
Best paint (out of 530 cars)
Best super beetle custom

Has not come home yet empty handed. Kind of a weird looking vehicle but to each his own.

Color is HOK Tangelo pearl basecoat
Lettering is HOK Black basecoat with HOK cosmic chrome over top.
Clear is HOK UFC-35

cut and buffed by 351coupe. He does great work!!! Makes me look like a rock star ;)

Just thought I would share. Next vehicle I will have pics posted will be an isuzu pickup bagged and body dropped on a custom frame. Will be a multi layered graphic paint job. Might even do a how to for you guys that want to learn alittle bit on here....

Cool man. How do you deal with the HOK clear in our climate. Most of the guys I know havent had enough time or money to figure it out--or has it been reformulated lately?

Very sweet dude!!Thanks for the props!!!Like I said before,it is very rewarding to work on your paint,I'd love to do it more often.Glad to see Greg is taking home some trophies with it,he was very happy when it was finished.I had to go back out there and fix that painters finish work though,I would hate to see a car after he is done with it:whoa:

you mean that "spot in job" hehehe...what a d bag. I am going to have some work for you soon as I get this truck painted. This one is going to be crazy....so I will keep you in the loop.

thanks guys for the props. About the clear I really do not have much problem spraying the Hok Clear. It will pop on you very easily if you are not careful. Its alittle thicker than I am used to but good stuff. Buffs nice....easy to cut. I would use it over anything custom or with kandy under it. for sure.

351coupe...yeah I heard he had a guy come out and spot in the burn through....I was pissed when I heard that. But what ever. Its his car and Its out of my hair. I had that car for almost 5 months!!! I was ready to see it go home.....and stay there ;)

I start at around 2500.00 and go up from there depending on the work. All work gets cut and buffed to a show shine unless a different out come is desired.

Thanks for looking at my thread.
