Good panel adhesive?

I'm looking to cover up a few holes on my firewall with patch panels. The whole thing is going to be covered with a flexible heat shield material so looks don't matter (hence no welding them it).
I'm looking for recommendations on what to use that will hold up and something I can get locally.

There are a lot of 2 part systems now that are available in tube form. Evercoat makes several that can be applied with a standard caulk gun. See your local paint/body supply store.
